Calling all young chefs for Friday night cooking from 6-9pm! Evening cooking events will be held most Friday nights from September 25th-December 18th at Young Chefs Academy in Sunnyvale. This gives parents a chance for a night out (or in!) and children a chance to cook up some fun, while building life skills at our fully equipped facility. Each event varies by theme and recipe. $50 per child per session or 10% off 4 or more sessions. $45 each when your Bring-A-Friend. Check out our schedule below to see what's right for you!
September 25th: GRUBS UP! We'll cook up extraordinarily revolting recipes inspired by Roald Dahl's popular stories such as "Wormy Spaghetti" from "The Twits" and "Lickable Wallpaper" from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"!
October 16th: PAJAMA PARTY! Put on your PJs and bring your friends to create your own gourmet pizza from scratch as well as fresh squeezed lemonade and pizza cookies! There will also be games, special prizes and more!
October 30th: HALLOWEEN MADNESS! Wear your costume and come to our kitchen to decorate your very own Spooooky House! Costume contest, Tricks 'n' Treats, prizes and more!
November 6th: SHIIIVER ME TIMBERS! Ahoy, young Jack Sparrows and Elizabeth Swanns! All hands are on deck as we whip up some grub good enough for the toughest buccaneer. Come dressed in your best pirate outfit or we might make you scour the "decks"!
November 20th: HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Our menus are laden with Thanksgiving specialties, including everyone's favorite--made-from-scratch pies! Add some table setting and a few manners and your young chef(s) will be ready to make you proud on Thanksgiving Day!
December 4th: FESTIVE HOLIDAY HOUSE. Build your very own cookie house and decorate it with Royal Icing and holiday candies. We'll supply everything you need to create a festive holiday house.
December 11th: HOLIDAY BAKING. Come to our kitchen and learn the secrets to baking and pastry making! Have your young chef make fabulous desserts during the holiday season!
December 18th: FUNdue END OF YEAR PARTY! Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it does! Cheese and chocolate fondues, an array of dippers, a healthy dose of presentation skills, and LOTS of FUNdue for everyone!
