Job Description
-Provide electrical engineering support on utility scale solar power plant projects including system design, equipment specification, code compliance, and technical research
-create AutoCAD drawings of PV systems including site layouts, one line, and three line diagrams
-contribute to continued learning both personally and at the team level, overall system optimization, and ongoing cost reduction efforts
Skills
Experience Required:
- 2 years in power system engineering design with preference given to experience in MV / HV design
-experience with SCADA system design an asset but not required
-high level of proficiency in AutoCAD a prerequisite
-must be self motivated, extremely thorough, have excellent organizational skills, and professional integrity
-must be able to balance multiple projects while working under tight deadlines
-must have the ability to pick up concepts quickly and apply them in new situations
-must communicate effectively in both written and verbal mediums, to internal and external customers
-must be comfortable working in a highly collaborative, non-hierarchal environment that requires ownership of results
Education Required:
-BSEE degree from an accredited university
