A Cosmetologist is licensed by the State of California to work in Salons and Spas to do hair (cuts and colors, up do’s etc), nails (manicures & pedicures), and skin (make-up, facials, etc). You need 1600 hours of training to qualify you to take the state examination. You can be done in as little as 6 months!
