The qualified candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
• Minimum of 1 ˝ - 2 years of HIGH-VOLUME cash handling experience
• Previous customer service experience
• High attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
Before proceeding, there are a couple things to consider:
•All casino employees must be at least 21 years of age
•Upon acceptance of employment offer, verification of your legal right to work in the United States will be required
•The City of San Jose requires that all Garden City Employees obtain a San Jose Police Work Permit.
•Cost of badge = $395.00 ($333 Permit, $52 Live Scan, $10 Notary), upon successful completion of 90 day probationary period, $100 will be reimbursed to you.
•Process of obtaining a San Jose Police Work Permit consists of a detailed background check
•Time frame to obtain a badge can be a month or longer.
You must be 21 or over to work at Garden City Casino. You must be able to speak coherent English; bi-lingual a plus. We do conduct background checks.
