We are looking for a self motivated CPA or CPA candidate with four to six years of experience in public accounting to join our energetic and growing CPA firm.
All of our personnel participate in regular training seminars, continuing education programs, and conferences to keep us on top of all changing laws, principles, and practices.
We are a friendly, fast-paced and outstanding CPA firm. The Firm performs tax planning, consultation and preparation services for a variety of entities which include individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates and trusts in US and International.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Preparation of individual and entity tax returns
• Perform first tier review of individual tax returns.
• Identify client needs and new business opportunities within client organizations.
• Managing multiple engagements.
• Consulting with clients on tax services including planning, research and compliance.
• Researching complex tax issues.
• Analyze, prepare and execute financial system journal entries postings
• Special projects/requests as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Licensed CPA or CPA candidacy.
• Excellent understanding of accounting, including knowledge of accounting policies and principles and what they represent
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in Quick books accounting software
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Self motivated and able to work independently, with strong attention to detail and deadlines
• BS or BA in Accounting required.
• Four to Six years of experience
• Positive attitude and friendly.
