Amalfi is seeking an experienced bookkeeper/accounting clerk to assist the Financial Administrator with Accounts Payable, in our fast-paced and growing company.
• Location: Los Gatos, CA
• Position: Part-time (~ 20 hours per week) / Temporary
Responsibilities:
In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Accounts Payable processing, verification of supporting documentation, and assignment of GL accounting code
• Assist/Process Employee Expense reports
• Assist with cash and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close
• Respond to PO inquiries as requested by employees and management
• Data entry, filing and miscellaneous AP/Administrative tasks
• May perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
• 5+ years experience in AP, AR and GL
• Some knowledge of GL journal entries (debits and credits)
• Strong QuickBooks knowledge required
• Extremely organized and meticulous attention to detail
• Highly accurate data entry skills
• Familiar with Microsoft office suite, and good working knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of SERUS a plus
• Willingness to learn new systems, ask questions and follow through on tasks assigned
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and document all completed tasks
Educational Requirements:
• Associates degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping
