The roommate who was supposed to move in on Dec. 1 just backed out last minute, leaving me in a lurch because of the holiday. So if you are still looking for your perfect home-I have one available.

The room is 11.5x10.5 and comfortably fits a queen size bed, nightstand, dresser, and a bookshelf or desk. It get's afternoon sunlight and has a full length closet. The apartment is a 2 bedroom/ 1 bathroom, very quaint, retro 60's era, nicely furnished, and gets plenty of sunlight. It's off of the street so it stays quiet and there is no unit above it, so no footsteps-yay! Coin-Op Washer/Dryer in building. It's very secure, the building owners are extremely nice and accommodating, and we have friendly neighbors (including a wine rep that keeps us well stocked in wine).

This is a great neighborhood with a walkable business district filled with many yummy restaurants, cafes, shops (including a 24 hour Grocery, 24 Hour Walgreens, produce markets, a meat market, and a natural foods store), 2 movie theaters, and a YMCA. Baker Beach and Golden Gate Park are in walking distance. There is plenty of public transportation and despite the proximity from downtown, I find the commute to be fairly painless (20 minutes on the commuter hour express and 30 minutes on the 38L).

I run my own business as well as working as a Field Organizer for a few progressive political campaigns. The life of an organizer can be hectic and time consuming at times, so I am not home as much as I'd like to be these days. But when I do wind down, my interests include movies, reading, music, going to shows, scrabble, cooking, baking, and sewing. I'm pretty down to earth and have gotten along with almost every roommate I've had and I'm still good friends with a few. I'm in my 30's and I've gained a lot of life experience, so I feel good about where I am in my life and take it one day at a time.

I'm looking for a long-term roommate who is independent but easy to co-habitate and socialize with when I am home. I like to keep common areas clean and livable, though I can deal with a little clutter. Basically if you are mature, easy-going, respectful, and responsible-I can get along with most anyone. Hi! We have available a "single room" that is actually a living room in an apartment about 10 minutes walking distance to campus. I currently live here, but am going to move out to live with a friend at the end of December, so I'm looking for someone to replace me. The available room is actually the living room, but there is a partition that stretches about halfway across so as to separate it from the dining room. It is a very very large room -- I don't have the exact measurements, but eyeballing it it looks to be about 12ft x18ft. I haven't installed any curtains, but if you're interested in a more private room, that would definitely be a possibility. There is no closet, but there is one in the hallway that you are free to use. Additionally, there is another area with a bunch of shelves that would be available for your use. I am looking for one or two people to move in with me in a townhouse in Cotati ASAP. I have two rooms available for rent and the landlords asking for $750 per room a month (which includes all utilities, washer/dryer and internet), but are willing to settle for a less per room a month for the right person. These two rooms are the same size (approximately 12 ft. by 10 ft.) and share a bathroom. Looking for someone who is clean, responsible, reliable, cool to hang out with. If you are a smoker, no need applying as landlords do not want a smoker living here. People who also like to throw many parties are also requested not to apply, as this is not a party house.

Personally, I am pretty much a laid back kind of guy who usually keeps to himself at home, but has no problem talking with people at any time of day. I am down to hang out and chat and watch a movie or just say hello and get on with the day. Occasional partying is cool by me, but not everyday or every weekend. I keep the place fairly clean (or at least it can be cleaned pretty easily in a matter of minutes) and ask that you do the same. If you have any questions, please give me an e-mail. We are a couple of stable and fully employed individuals looking for a third roommate.

The only bad part of the room is that it theres a door to another room, but its closed for the most part and you could try to cover it with a poster or something. Hardwood floors throughout the home, nice backyard(landscape maintenance provided), we currently use the garage for two cars, but there is amply parking.

Lived in Berkeley, Santa Cruz, Northern California for too long if that helps. I work in the health care profession and my au pair is a student as well. We have one small dog, 2 cats and a pony. Outside there are also owls, raccoons . deer,skunks etc. Art. photography, science. literature. science fiction. environmental, ecology We do barbecue in the summer. Garden. Try to grow vegetables and flowers.
Might even reduce rent for someone willing to do extra housework, yardwork (mow grass, weed, rake manure, etc) or babysitting.
Lots of parking but we are a mile from the bus stop and 15 minutes or so to the Concord Bart Station. Student okay (especially graduate students).
No more pets though. Our fences and new wood floors won't handle it. (Maybe an OUTDOOR cat only)

We are reasonably close to post office, grocery store, DVC, CAL STATE of EAST BAY, Sun Valley Mall etc.etc. without being in town. VERY QUIET.
