Hi. I posted this yesterday but was stood up by someone who had agreed to take take it for me. We had worked out everything, but when the time came, he never answered and never called me back. Basically, I needed to send a piece of paper to Los Angeles by Tuesday evening, but I took it to the post office too late yesterday. They're closed Sundays, and overnighting it tomorrow is too expensive for a broke college student's budget. My partner and I are renting a car from the Oakland airport and will be driving pretty much straight through *with one stop*
We are seeking a rideshare to offset the cost of fuel, and to have some company! We are renting an economy sized car, which will be good on gas but probably not huge on space, so please pack light.

Cost of the ride would be half the gas, whatever that amounts to. I drive very economically and have a perfect driving record. We are a twenty something couple headed home to visit for the holidays. I plan to leave from Brentwood in the East Bay early in the morning and make a stop in San Francisco before heading south.

I'm looking for a rideshare down to as close to San Diego as you may be going (Santa Barbara or closer) from San Francisco for the days before Thanksgiving ( Tuesday or Wednesday).

I will share gas costs and any tolls within reason, as well as provide great conversation, snacks, and even music if you're inclined. Or I can sleep most of the way and keep my earphones in. Whatever works for you.

I don't need a ride back - I will fly - but I'm looking to cut some costs by driving down.

I need to have an inherited rocking chair transported from my family in New Orleans to me in the Bay Area. It's bulky (mainly an oak frame and rockers, with a removable seat and cushion) but not very heavy, and could easily be laid on its side and packed around. It would fit in the back of a medium-sized SUV or larger vehicle. I would pay you $100 and could pick up the chair anywhere in or reasonably near the Bay Area. If you have room, I'd pay an extra $50 for 3 or 4 small boxes of other stuff, too, but the rocking chair is my main concern. If you're driving or moving from the New Orleans area and interested in some help with the gas money, please let me know.
