The Titan 200 features a permanently-fitted helical geared center column. This special helical gearing serves as a fully automatic column brake....even if the collar lock is not tightened fully, the gearing will not let the center column slide down. The center column of the CT 200 is also tapped for the ballhead stud at either end of the column. Therefore, a ballhead can be mounted facing downwards, for low-level photography.
As in the CT 100, the leg segments are 29/35mm thick, ideal for professional work.

I am selling my Panasonic SDR-H280 'PAL' 3ccd 30GB Camcorder with all the original contents and original box. Everything is in clean, like-new condition!! I never really used it to make short films that I had intended to do and I rather get cash for it back. The original software that comes with the camcorder allows you to view and convert the video file on a PC computer. This is a PAL standard, and if this is the system you are looking for you will already know that it is not compatible for viewing on non-PAL supported monitors and TVs. Most NTSC TVs do not support PAL.

If you are a Macintosh user, the software that comes with the camcorder will not work. MPEG Streamclip is a free software you may download from Apple.com that will convert this camera's MOD files to the file and codec of your choice. You must have MPEG2 plug-in from Apple in order for MPEG Streamclip to recognize the MOD files.

The particulars:

The D200 body has 39,797 actuations as of today. I do still use it daily, but don't expect to fire off more than another thousand or so before selling.

The MB-200 grip works fine, but the EN-EL3e batteries don't seem to work in it. (No Power) It works perfectly fine with AA's, and I mostly use rechargeable AA's anyway.

The 80-200 f/2.8 works perfectly in Autofocus, but does NOT focus manually. This might be an easy fix, but whenever I've looked into it, they say "give me a couple weeks" and then I say, "Na. I use it too much. Maybe some other time when you're less busy."

The 28-70 f/2.8 is a great lens and has served me well for many years.

The 20mm f/2.8 is my all time favorite lens, but please remember the D200 is not full-frame. And this is the main reason I am moving to Canon. I've been waiting for Nikon to make a reasonably priced full-frame DSLR for years now, and I'm bored of waiting.

The 55mm f/1.2 is AWESOME, but it is a Manual lens. The D200 recognizes it, but you cannot use a "full auto" mode and shoot successfully with it. You have to use manual focus, and understand exposure settings.

The SB-26 strobes both work perfectly, but they do not sync natively in TTL with the D200. They were designed to work nicely with the N90s and are absolutely great as manual strobes, using non-TTL auto, or using the built in slaves with the pop up flash of the D200. To be clear, with the D200 these do require a little knowledge about exposure settings and for best results require manual input of aperture, iso, focal length, etc.

The SC-17 Extension also works with the D200, but like the SB-26 strobes, the TTL and Focus assist features are not enabled with the D200, because the D200 uses the updated iTTL technology. The body has its own focus assist light which helps, but is not flawless when using these strobes.

I have some manuals,cables, cases & pouches. Also some receipts as i've been toting them around for years. The boxes disappeared somewhere between my SF-LA-NYC-SF moves over the years.

My intent is to crossgrade to a Canon 5D (Original or Mk2). I know what my stuff is worth, and I'm not looking to get hosed.
My asking prices aren't FIXED, I'm open minded, but ABSOLUTELY not open minded to obnoxious offers.

I bought most of this gear new, and have taken pretty good care of everything.

This is a great camera, and I can (and do) continue to use it with No Problem, but would really like to get into a full frame body.

I've got almost 7k into it, and don't intend to give it away, but I understand everything depreciates.

If I can get a good 5D and a decent lens, I'm open to it.
Obviously the sweeter the deal for both of us, the better.

I would rather not piece this gear out, but I'm open minded to a good deal.

Here is how I value my equipment:

Body & Grip - $700 - (I'll ask 8, and you can talk me down to 7.) The body comes with batteries & card, etc.
80-200 f/2.8 - $800 - I've still gotta buy a new one for the Canon, so go easy. (lens has hood)
28-70 f/2.6 - $250 - Tokina AT-X
20mm f/2.8 - $450
SB-26 flash - $120 (ish) each.
55mm f/1.2 - $450 FIRM - Reminder, this is a manual lens.

The N90s? Meh. Maybe I'll just give it to my girlfriend's mom. She broke her N6006 at a wedding over the summer, so she could probably use it more than you.

I think these prices are fair. Add it up and you're looking at $2890.00. That's a brand new 5DMk2 & Vertical Grip right there.

When all is said and done I'd like to get as close to $2,000 as I can, OR a nice trade on a solid 5D (original) with a decent lens, or even just a 5DMk2 body. Something along these lines.

Please remember. This is used equipment. It's not beat to crap, but it hasn't spent its life in a padded box under the mattress at my Nana's house either. It's all been back and forth and up and down and all over, but I've also been mindful of the fact it all needs to work when I press the button, and make nice, consistent images when I do.

REGARDING SCAMMERS: please don't waste my time with your scams. Although I find them entertaining, I will spend too much of my free time trying to lure you out of your hiding place and send you all over on wild goose chases, coming up with long winded & clever responses to your ridiculous offers, and that gets neither of us anywhere, so just move on to some other ad please.

I will not ship out of state or out of country, I will not (likely) give you my paypal address, and I won't accept any money orders or certified checks sent overnight through fedex from Nigeria or some obscure town in New York, so please don't ask.

I am willing to drive for a good deal. Monterey, Sacramento, whatever. Anywhere within 4 or 5 hours is a fun road trip anyway.

This Nikkor has a variable maximum aperture that ranges from f/4 at 70mm to f/5.6 at 300mm. The minimum aperture is f/32 at 70mm. Small colored dots are used to indicate the aperture for 70mm versus the aperture for 300mm. Focusing can be as close as 5 feet (1.5) at any zoom setting; there is no macro mode. No infrared focusing mark is provided. The D in the name means that focus distance is used in flash metering calculations by the camera. The ED indicates that two of the elements are made of Nikon's unique extra-low dispersion glass, which helps focus color information at the same plane, especially at longer focal lengths. As with all ED lenses, the lens focuses past infinity under normal temperature conditions.
The manual zoom and focus rings are separate, and easily distinguished. The front focus ring is wide and easy to find compared to some AF lenses. At the front of the lens, you'll be screwing in 62mm accessories (Nikon's medium standard, shared by many Nikkor lenses). If you have to know, there are 13 elements in 9groups, a bit on the complex side, though typical of telephoto zooms.
