Rearden is looking for an energetic Marketing Writer to be part of the Creative Services team. The Marketing Writer will be responsible for translating Rearden Commerce's business and brand strategy into clear, engaging and compelling communication pieces through a variety of projects including advertising, tradeshows, collateral, customer adoption and support materials, press releases, corporate web site and online communications. It is critical for candidates to work well with other teams and to be a creative thinker.
Responsibilities
Write, edit, and coordinate the content of all external marketing and promotional communications for consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness in the overall message
Proactively seek out opportunities for improved customer communication
Craft copy for marketing emails, promotional messages, ad banners, and Rearden Commerce corporate website that is consistent with the company voice and brand
Help edit press releases, datasheets, PR fact sheets and other applications as needed
Qualifications
At least 5 years experience in an ad agency or in-house creative department
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, instructional design, communications or other relevant field
Understanding of brands and products, and the ability to articulate them
Ability to write great headlines and copy for all types of media
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
Ability to collaborate with art directors, designers, and Marketing Directors
Mature, professional attitude, combined with a desire to have fun
Excellent concept development skills
Expert level attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
Strong organizational and project management skills
