Maximum PC is looking for a print- and web-savvy senior editor to fill the position of Reviews Editor on MaximumPC.com. The Reviews Editor will work directly with the Editor-in-Chief and the rest of the Maximum PC staff in our South San Francisco office to ensure that Maximum PC’s product coverage is second-to-none. Qualified applicants will have the following:
- Deep knowledge of PC hardware, software, and operating systems.
- A keen understanding of products of interest to PC enthusiasts, from core system components to gear on the periphery (smartphones, home theater, cameras, etc).
- The ability to write critical, authoritative, and definitive reviews of all the products Maximum PC covers.
- The ability to manage freelance budgets, staff schedules, and multiple deadlines, as well as develop, assign, write, and edit daily content for MaximumPC.com, and monthly content for Maximum PC Magazine.
- Outstanding writing and editing skills.
- Great multitasking skills, team spirit, and hustle.
- Experience with CMS systems, Photoshop, HTML and Flash.
