PlayStation: The Official Magazine is looking for a hard-working intern who’s as passionate about gaming as he/she is about the media.
Candidates should have:
• In-depth knowledge of what’s hot in gaming right now—what people are playing, what people want to be playing, and what gamers are excited by.
• A love of media. This isn’t just about gaming; it’s about making great magazines.
• Strong interest in research and writing, preferably with some published clips (blogs and school newspapers are both acceptable).
Among the tasks you’ll do:
• Track and monitor release dates
• Research and fact-check stories
• Develop and pitch ideas
• Search for and capture screenshots
• Attend demo meetings
• Write news, previews, reviews
• Various administrative tasks (mail-outs, filing, contests, taking notes)
