Website Developer / Designer
As a critical member of Marketo’s high-performance marketing team, the Website Developer / Designer is responsible for the design and development of Marketo’s corporate web site, landing pages, promotional offers, and emails, including interactive design projects. This role will also create landing page and email templates for Marketo’s customers, and work with the Director of User Experience on product-related design issues.
Responsibilities
High-quality design, maintenance, and optimization of Marketo’s corporate website
Regular content updates and additions for all company web properties
Using Marketo’s tools to develop effective HTML for newsletters, email, landing pages, etc. to support marketing activities
Creating email and landing page templates for new Marketo customers
Collaborating with brand and design agencies to establish look and feel guidelines
Work with user experience designer to design web application user experience and user interfaces
Skills/Experience
Experience in the field of corporate web design and web development
Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
Strong design aesthetic and commitment to quality
Reliable, focused on meeting deliverables and exceeding expectations
Strong organizational and project management skills
Advanced knowledge of Abobe CS suite and other common design tools
Experience with Flash design and development, jQuery, AJAX, and Flex a plus
Proficient with SEO strategies a plus
Experience in other mediums, such and print or video, a plus
Experience developing for cross-browser compatibility (including IE, Mozilla/Firefox, Opera, and Safari)
