We are looking for user interface designers with a passion for delivering great user experience designs to work in Mountain View CA.
All candidates need to have the ability to do wireframes and concept design as well as work all the way through to visual design.
You will effortlessly create user scenarios, task flows and clearly structured UI wireframes and visual designs using tools like Visio, Photoshop and Illustrator. You will document designs as needed for development and localisation. You have worked through the full product life-cycle for a consumer software application or web service product and are familiar with the range of interaction and visual design tasks involved.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Interaction design or related subject.
At least three years experience carrying out interaction design for shipping software products or consumer web services
Demonstrates clear understanding of interaction design practises for product life-cycle including user requirements gathering, scenario building, task design, use of UI style and visual design guides, solving technology constraints, documenting designs for graphic production, localisation and quality assurance.
Portfolio to show ability to solve complex design problems with example deliverables, for example wireframes of a design solution.
Skilled with tools like Visio, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Good appreciation of visual design principles.
Great communications skills for working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams. Fluency in English, demonstrated in CV.
Availability to work in the Burlington office closely with agile design and development team
Preferred - any:
Familiarity with designing for mobile web environments and mobile phone applications
Experience designing for programs that use agile development methods.
Experience of designing and conducting usability studies.
Ability to apply visual design guidelines to create elegant visual designs - demonstrated in portfolio.
