General Description: Under general supervision, performs various tasks relating to the transport of rental cars for a major car rental agency.
Required qualifications for the position include:
• At least one year Dispatch work experience within the transportation field handling multiple mobile units on a given shift
• Available to work on weekends a must
• Clean driving record and background check a must
• Must be detail oriented, familiar with basic computer programs, and have good organizational and coordinating proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Quick learner, ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and handle changes with profesionalism
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Positive enthusiasm, compassion and dependability
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; or minimum of one year Dispatch work experience within the transportation field is required and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
