      ** Technical project leader/Product Manager to lead Alliance efforts with BI/ETL tools vendors **
      
      The successful candidate will be responsible for technical engagements including partner presentations, proofs of concepts, joint installation and tuning Greenplum Database for Greenplum's BI Analytic Tools partners. The ideal candidate will be situated in our San Mateo headquarters.
      
      Responsibilities Include
      • Technical evangelist working with BI Tools Vendors (Reporting, Analytics, ETL, etc.) promoting Greenplum to vendor integrations and successful customer implementations
      • Lead technical PoCs with vendors; assist on customer PoCs
      • Act as technical point of contact for BI tool vendors and Greenplum field teams
      • Greenplum Database installation and tuning
      • Creation of product demonstrations to demonstrate joint product value
      • Trouble resolution with technical performance issues involving business intelligence logical models and analytics
      
      Requirements
      • Excellent written and oral communications skills; previous customer facing experience required
      • Experience with BI Tools in real world implementations, such as BOBJ, SAS, MicroStrategy, Informatica, Ab Initio, Cognos, Datastage, etc.
      • Ability to manage partners and integration projects as Project Manager
      • Technical knowledge of Linux (required), Unix, Windows, Scripting, ODBC/JDBC, MPP/SMP hardware and RDBMS
      • DBMS related product experience preferred (Teradata, Netezza, Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, etc.)
      • Experience with data warehousing and logical modeling
      • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
