Vantage Technologies is a bay area software startup poised to provide hosted transcript scheduling and management systems to the court reporting industry. Our flagship product is in the final stages of beta testing, and we are looking for a motivated outside sales contractor to introduce it to an eager and under-served market. The right candidate will have unlimited opportunity for career progression as we build our sales team!

We will provide you with demonstration equipment and marketing materials (including business cards), as well as a generous commission structure and potential for performance-based quarterly bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  
• Sell services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; matching services with customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing and competition
  
• Work with marketing staff to build and present customized demos
  
• Present Courtscript's infrastructure, demonstrating deep familiarity with clients' hardware, software, and security concerns
  
• Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
  

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years sales experience and proven success in B2B sales.
  
• Ability to interact with people at all levels of a corporate environment including C-level executives, professional conduct and appearance
  
• Must be able to present key selling points, benefits, and features while remaining focused on the prospect's needs.
  
• Basic computer knowledge, core understanding of hosted applications and web technology
  
• Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  
• Ability to travel domestically
  

Bonus Experience:

• Familiarity with contract sales
  
• Demonstrated sales record with a web application company
  
• Experience in the legal, court reporting, or captioning market
