IT Support Associate

As an IT Support Associate you will oversee all IT administration of desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, voip system anything computer related. You will support software and hardware upgrades, including software rollouts, patches, upgrades, etc. Excellent customer service skills are required. Successful candidates must have the ability to work independently to manage our IT requirements and solve technical problems as they arise. Typical troubleshooting activities include email, internet access, printers, application installation & maintenance, active directory, and end user support tasks.
In addition to ongoing IT duties, you will work on various projects supporting our linux based ecommerce platform. Common examples include: configuring testing workstations, failover planning, performance testing, and database maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Patching, installing, and maintenance of servers, routers, desktops, and other hardware.
Management of backups, disaster recovery plans, and configurations.
Monitoring core systems.
Ability to solve problems creatively and within best practice guidelines.
Research & suggest new technologies where needs exist.
Qualifications
BS in technical field or equivalent experience.
SQL Server & MySQL
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Solid experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Windows platforms.
Solid experience with Linux as a hosting environment (LAMP stack).
Friendly and team-oriented.
Location
The position is based in the companys headquarters in Mountain View, CA
Conveniently located near the Hwy 101, 237 and 85
