We are seeking Consultants who want to add some hours to their work week. The positions are varied, throughout the Bay Area, contract, mostly part-time, break/fix with some project work. The work is completed on site – not remote. Candidate must be or has been a contract employee or contractor in the past. You are self managed, reliable, proactive and confident. A minimum of five years experience is required.
We are looking for someone who understands the Windows environment completely. Experienced in implementing Windows servers and must be familiar with Windows NT. An understanding of domains, active directory and to be able to troubleshoot and resolve Windows server and desktop issues is required. You use best practices for implementation of Windows applications and different types of servers and server based enterprise applications. Must be familiar with a variety of hardware. Candidate must have a firm understanding of networking and how networks function. Must be able to set up a company from top to bottom from getting an ISP and configuring the firewalls to fixing desktop issues. All around generalist with some leanings towards expertise.
