Requirements:
2+ years prior experience in a medical office setting. Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management, computer and organizational skills required. Delivers excellent customer service to patients and demonstrates a high level of competence in all support roles. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Minimum typing skills of 55-60 wpm.

Responsibilities will include administrative and clerical work including but not limited to: keeping records, answering phones, ordering supplies, handling correspondence, completing insurance and requisition forms, coordinating processing of billing forms, and transcribing dictation. This position may also include bookkeeping or insurance verification/authorization duties. Must have solid oral and written communication skills, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. In smaller offices, this position may also include front desk duties, scheduling appointments and ancillary services, obtaining medical records, and arranging hospital admissions.
