Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.

JOB DUTIES
• Manage, schedule, and supervise 30-50 hourly production personnel.
• Assure adequate staffing to meet production needs.
• Monitor and address employee-related concerns; report serious issues to Production Manager and HR Manager.
• Monitor production output and ensure compliance with production schedule.
• Coordinate and support production efforts with Production Supervisors on other shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business or Engineering preferred.
• 3-5 years previous supervisory experience in Production with a food or beverage manufacturing union environment.

• Strong understanding of AIB, GMP, HACCP, FDA, OSHA.

We are currently seeking a proactive service oriented Sr. Site Services Specialist to help manage vendor services for Gilead. This is position is responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Manage vendor services. I.e. Café services, Janitorial services, Shipping and Receiving, but not limited to these services.
