Qualifications:
Education, Experience, and Training:
EXPERIENCE IN LEADING A CREW REQUIRED. Any combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Two years experience in landscaping work. Must attend Sheriff's Department training for WWP crew leader and maintain annual WWP crew leader certification. Must possess a valid California drivers license; maintain a driving record that assures insurability by district's carrier.

Responsibilities:
Under general direction of the Operations Supervisor, lead a crew of WWP personnel and perform landscaping duties for maintenance and beautification of district facilities. Ensure that rules, regulations and requirements of the Sheriff’s Department Weekend Work Program are followed including maintaining and supervising the required start time, break time and ending time for Weekend Work Program participants. Do related work as required.

Specific Duties Include:
• Lead a crew comprised of WWP personnel.
• Assist in training of WWP personnel on the safe operation of landscape equipment.
• Maintain district facilities landscaping
