What we are looking for:

A one car private garage or larger. This is one thing we have on our list that is a necessity.

We like to have a few friends over now and then and like to BBQ and I like to have flowers/plants around so a small yard would be nice but is not a necessity.

My name is Alton, and I hope to be one of the most interesting people you have ever met. I am a photographer, contact juggler, card manipulator/magician, technology enthusiast, hypnotist, butterfly flipper, Parkour-er, Urban explorer, and teacher of all of the above. I am also looking for a place to stay this upcoming fall of 2008, beginning anywhere from now until August 23rd. I graduated from Palo Alto High School (Paly) and I have decided to attend Foothill for a year or two before transferring to Reed college in Portland Oregon. I feel that by choosing to stay (relatively) local while pursuing public education here, I can cut costs enormously (relative to attending Reed for 4 straight years) as well as keep in touch with my local connections.

I am plan to study cognitive and developmental psychology - mainly how people learn and what motivates them. Ultimately I would like to have a positive impact on America's educational system so that people can become genuinely interested in learning for themselves.

I am a 22 yo art student.
I am very considerate, responsible, clean and easy-going. I take a complete responsibilities around the property, and you can even call my former landlady to check how clean I was. Though, I am not a neat freak. I just like to keep everything clean and tidy.
I smoke, but never inside of the place. I only drink occasionally, probably a glass of wine is my limit.
I am not on a regular schedule since I am taking break, but from September, it will be a bit more organized. Though I stay in my room a lot for doing homeworks, internet, or sleeping.

I'd prefer housemates, because it's kinda dangerous for young girl to live by herself. Plus, it could be a lot more fun to have housemates to hang out, chat, or share a place with a nice relationship.
But I know it's very hard to find a place with nice housemates.

Here's my expectation;
Responsible, considerate, easy-going, neat students/professionals. Especially who can respect in needs of alone time, and has common sense of keeping the place peaceful.
Not having parties 24/7
Not currently having drinking/gambling/drug issues
No drama (please) AND not into being a boss or parent
Enjoys their life

I am not expecting to have a perfect place with perfect housemates. I believe that everyone can't be perfect, but everyone is trying to be close to that.
I am very tired of being around by sloppy, selfish, irresponsible, crazy roommates who don't even care about others.

I prefer Mountain View, but Palo Alto/Los Altos are fine as long as they are near El Camino Real.

I am okay with pets (less than 3 please), but you take the responsibilities.

Hello ! I am a fourth year medical student from University of Miami Miller School of Medicine who will be doing an externship in anesthesiology at Stanford University Medical Center for 4 weeks(August 23-Sep 21). A little bit about myself: I am a 26 years old female who is extremely responsible, dependable, and respectful of other people's spaces, and can provide references if you wish. I will be working long hours at the hospital during my externship so you do not have to worry about me bringing strangers home or throwing crazy parties.

I love animals so if you have pets, that's totally not a problem. I am looking for a private furnished room with either private or shared bath on campus or near campus (15 min walking distance max -- I don't bike !) and am willing to pay $900 for 4 weeks and that includes all the utilities.

What I am looking for :

Private room - must be furnished as well as the rest of the house/apartment. (with linens, pillows, comforters, desk lamps, etc.)
Walking distance to Stanford University medical center
Access to full working kitchen with pots/pans/utencils/etc.
Either washer/dryer in unit or at least on site.
