Community Gatepath, the largest nonprofit serving people with disabilities in San Mateo County is looking for on-call Pediatric Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists to be a part of our Children’s Services team. All therapists will serve children and their families from birth to age three. Bilingual in Spanish a huge plus for all therapists. High energy, enthusiasm, and self motivation required!

The Occupational Therapists will work with children with an emphasis on fine and gross motor development, sensory development, oral motor development, and feeding. Previous experience in a pediatric setting required as well as a B.S. or M.S. degree from accredited institution for training in Occupational Therapy.

The speech-language pathologist serves children with an emphasis on speech/language development, cognitive communication, feeding/swallowing, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), prosthetic/adaptive device assessment and intervention, assessment for individuals who are bilingual and/or learning English as an additional language, auditory processing disorders, aural rehabilitation, voice functions, reading, and oral-motor skills. Previous experience in a pediatric setting required as well as M.S. degree from accredited higher education institution in Speech-language Pathology.

The Physical Therapist serves children with an emphasis on gross motor development . Previous experience in a pediatric setting required as well as an M.S. degree from accredited institution for training in Physical Therapy.
