Caring Hands Caregivers is a non-medical caregiving agency looking for experienced caregivers to work with seniors in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. We are a smaller agency, by design, focused on providing high quality, compassionate care for our clients. We are currently looking for experienced caregivers for live-in and hourly positions (Both Primary and Reliever Roles) who have at least three years experience. Male or female but with experience in caring for clients with dementia, Parkinson's, or strokes. Caregivers work directly with the owner of the agency and a Care Manager to build a care plan designed to meet the goals of the client and family. Our caregivers are our greatest strength so we are looking for the very best. We show great loyalty and respect towards our caregivers and they, in return, show great loyalty to the company.
Some of the duties may include:
• companionship
• planning and cooking meals
• transportation to and from appointments or recreational activities
• running errands
• light housekeeping
• reminders for medication
• assistance with grooming and bathing
• assistance with hobbies
Recommended qualifications for the caregiver position are:
* A demonstrated compassion towards working with seniors.
* Minimum of three years experience as a caregiver working with a variety of clients.
* CPR certified.
* Recent TB test.
* CNA, LVN, or Med-Tec training preferred.
* Must be proficient in English.
* Valid drivers license and car (with insurance) a plus.
We do full criminal background & DMV checks, and require references.
