The Children’s Health Council (CHC) is a diagnostic and treatment center for children and adolescents facing developmental and behavioral challenges. Our mission is to make a measurable difference in the lives of children and their families who face developmental, behavioral, emotional and learning challenges.

The Esther B. Clark School at The Children’s Health Council is a Non-Public School designed for children from grades 3 through 10, who have difficulty functioning at school due to behavior problems associated with severe emotional disabilities. Many of our students also have secondary specific learning disabilities, speech or language disorders or needs for occupational therapy. The full-day program combines academics and behavior management in a therapeutic milieu.

We are searching for a Music Therapist for our school. We offer a unique, stimulating and engaging environment! You will work with other professionals in various disciplines as we work with children with complex problems. A summary of the Music Therapist position follows:

Supervised by the EBC Clinical Manager, the Music Therapist is responsible for developing, planning and implementing an expressive music therapy program for the EBC students. This is a fee for service position, approximately 10 hours per week, with afternoon hours. Requires a minimum of a Master’s level degree in Music Therapy with board certification preferred.
