SEEKING HEALTH PROFESSIONALS IN TEEN SEXUALITY AND PREGNANCY PREVENTION AND TEENS FOR PAID (BETA) USABILITY TESTING OF VIDEO-BASED EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
With a grant from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), Sociometrics Corporation (www.socio.com) in Los Altos, CA is developing a set of video-based materials that are designed to be used in new or existing teen sexuality, pregnancy prevention or teen HIV/AIDS prevention programs in schools, clinics and community-based organizations.
We are recruiting educators and practitioners (program coordinators, health professionals, project managers, teen counselors etc.) who are working with youth. We are seeking feedback on the format, design, comprehensiveness of the product as well as the audio and video quality. We expect the usability test to last for about 45 minutes to an hour.
Participation for health and education professionals must be on-site. On-site usability testing will take place at Sociometrics Corporation, 170 State St., Suite 260, Los Altos, CA 94022. A compensation of $100 will be offered for on-site testers.
WE ARE ALSO SEEKING TEENS AGED 12-18 YEARS FOR REVIEWING THE PRODUCT AND OFFERING FEEDBACK. Participation for teens can be on-site or off-site (Youth will need access to a computer with internet connection for off-site testing). PLEASE NOTE THAT SOCIOMETRICS STAFF MAY ATTEND OFF-SITE TESTING TO CONDUCT FOLLOW-UP INTERVIEWS. A girt certificate for $50 will be offered for on-site testing, and a $25 gift certificate will be offered for off-site testing. The process will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Parental consent will be required.
