Offering a great opportunity for a Principal IC Design Engineer in their Redwood City, CA facility.
Primary Responsibilities/Scope: IC design from concept to production
Architect chip solutions for extremely low-power, state-of-the-art biomedical devices on standard CMOS processes. Using your expertise you will lead a team to plan and implement IC engineering projects with major impact across many company programs.
The IC design group sits at the center of the Company’s revolutionary technology and is critical to the Company’s success. We are a small dynamic group committed to teamwork, professional growth and the success of our Company.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong technical background and analytical knowledge of analog circuit design techniques
• An understanding of IC characterization, test and production yield improvement processes
• High-voltage tolerant, low leakage ( ~10n Amps), low voltage ( < 1V ) power regulation, power scavenging and charge pump designs in standard CMOS processes
• Good communication skills, with the ability to distill technical content for review by management. High quality design reviews
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
• M.S. or Ph.D. in E.E. discipline, or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years experience of hands on IC design
• Proven track record of successful IC designs released to full production on time and
• within budget
• RFID Design and Non Volatile memory experience a plus
