Senior Electrical Engineer
Lyncean Technologies, Inc. is developing a novel and compact synchrotron x-ray source
with applications in such diverse fields of science as structural biology, proteomics, materials,
and x-ray imaging applications for healthcare. We are looking for a talented, hands-on, and
experienced electrical engineer, with multidisciplinary skills, who can take a leadership roll in
a small, fast-paced environment designing and building state-of-the-art electrical for a wide
variety of applications.
We are looking for someone with several years of electrical engineering experience that includes:
• an advanced degree (MS or PhD) in EE, Physics, or related field
• good analog circuit design; control theory and RF experience a plus
• board-level analog and digital design: DSP feedback and data acquisition
• PSpice/OrCAD for circuit simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout
• debugging and testing of prototype boards
• packaging electronics; complex cable management.
This position will require that you are both good at and enjoy:
• challenging problems
• modeling and analysis
• interacting with physicists
• organization and documentation
• taking ideas from concept to production
• managing a small group of electrical engineers and technicians.

• have a strong desire to understand fundamentals
• be passionate about seeing tasks completed
• have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
