This is an entry-level opportunity to work with an Internet consumer software start-up. The company seeks to disrupt the large real estate industry with new technologies and the Internet infrastructure. You will work with a team of high-caliber, experienced, passionate, and competent people. You’ll be working side-by-side with the management team, who is experienced in building software and hardware businesses, including growing companies and taking companies public. We are looking for a full-time customer service associate to work closely with the Customer Service Manager to assist in planning, executing and tracking new business initiatives designed to better serve our customer base. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1) Outbound customer service/sales calls and emails – warm calling internet clients, lead screening
2) Outbound partner management calls – follow up calls with business partners
3) Assisting in creating and executing pilot customer service and sales processes
4) Assisting in creating supporting materials and documentation regarding processes using Microsoft Word and Movoto’s Wiki
5) Assisting in tracking and reporting on progress of ongoing projects using Movoto’s Customer Database, Excel, Word and/or Power Point
6) Assisting in communicating new processes to existing employees on the customer service team and/or business partners as needed
Required:
- At least 1 year work experience
- Excellent phone skills – enthusiastic about making cold or warm calls to website users on a regular basis
- Computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point and general Internet use
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Positive and professional attitude
- Quick learner and able to handle multiple priorities
- Available to regularly work at least one weekend day
- Keen attention to detail and meticulous adherence to procedure
Preferred:
- Real estate industry knowledge, experience and/or interest
- Experience in sales, customer service or related
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Chinese
- Some college-level work

Starting compensation is $9-13 per hour, depending on experience.
After a 3-month probation period, you may be converted to a permanent hire, and at which time there will be paid healthcare benefits, paid vacation, bonus structure, etc in addition to pay.
