The best Idea is to host your own server, with one website on that server, forever having the same IP provider, and the same IP address. According to Google
(the only search engine that matters, sorry Yahoo! and Bing!) these are the serious websites and they rank the highest, for any specific website content. There is no advantage to using Linux or Windows Servers, except that most businesses use Windows XP on their desktop
and laptop computers. Managing a Windows Server is just as easy as using a desktop or laptop computer that has a Windows operating system. This is why Public Data Service recommends Windows
2008 servers. Linux servers have more and more interfaces as time goes on, and some people find them easy to use. Many people have no experience with Linux or Unix at all.

In some cases, If you want to use a popular CMS (content management system) then you might be forced to use Linux, as many of them have no Windows version.
Templates - These sites are easily recognized by Google for what they are, so it is always better to have a website that is written from scratch for the purpose of organic ranking on Google.
