She was afraid of me @ 1st and ran into a corner I was able to go to her and pick her up. She is a very sweet dog and believe that some one is looking for her.

According to Hess, when they used the stairs � the elevator was inoperable � to go down to the eighth floor, �there was an explosion� and they were �trapped on the eighth floor with smoke, thick smoke, all around us, for about an hour and a half.� The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) claims the two men went down the stairs after 9:59, when the first collapse occurred, and were trapped around the time the second tower collapsed at 10:28, a claim at odds with the version published in the London Independent. "After the second plane hit they scrambled downstairs to the lobby, or what was left of it. �I looked around, the lobby was gone. It looked like hell,� Mr Jennings said."
In the video here, Jennings says the lobby of WTC 7 was so destroyed he did not recognize it as such, it was "total ruins," and the fireman escorting him instructed Jennings and Hess not to look down because "we were stepping over [dead] people� and you know you can feel when you are stepping over people." Jennings� story indicates, contrary to the official version of events, that a bomb or bombs had gone off in WTC 7, well before either WTC buildings collapsed (the south tower collapsed at 9:59 a.m. and the north tower followed at 10:28 a.m.). California Chinchilla rescue has dozens of surrendered, homeless chinchillas that need good homes.

Please consider adopting a chinchilla before purchasing one from a pet store.

Some of these little guys have had tough lives so far, but they are still sociable and lovable, and able to provide good companionship to a caring adopter.

The rescued chinchillas have had vet checks to assess their overall health, including checking for common chinchilla problems including giardia, heart murmurs, and teeth problems.

I teach all the instruments of the New Violin Family, the so called Octet, researched and invented by Carleen Hutchins, founder of the Catgut Acoustical Society. Among these instruments, the Alto Violin, otherwise known as vertical viola, is being played in a number of major orchestras as well as by soloists. It is an instrument with the tuning of a viola and, unlike the standard viola, the exact proportions of a violin. The tone is equal if not superior to that of the average viola, and it is held like a cello. Being substantially smaller than the cello, musicians and students reap significant technical advantages in playing viola solo repertoire and parts. This is particularly advantageous for children. The full sized alto would for a young child be akin to playing an appropriately sized cello, the difference being that a larger cello (or violin, viola, or bass) is desirable as the child grows. However there is no larger alto � the same size and perhaps even the same instrument is played into adulthood. This has enormous technical and expressive advantages.
