2008 Giant Trance X1

This is my beloved trail bike. This is the result of a mating ritual between a Giant Reign and a Trance X: The Trein. It started life as a Trance X1 and slowly I eventually upgraded almost every part. I wanted something as svelte as the Trance X but wanted more travel. First to go was the 120mm fork in favor or a 140mm Fox Float. Then to even out the travel in the rear, a new shock was spec'd out for 5.7" of travel in the back. This thing is light as an XC bike but has the travel of an all-mountain/aggressive trail bike.

A lot of the parts on this bike is new and it's dressed in the hottest color of 2009/2010: White. It also only weighs 26.12lbs and this is without any weight weenie parts. This can easily be built under 25lbs. There's no carbon here as it's not necessary. Try finding another 5.5" bike that weighs less. Even Cannondale's Carbon Rize bikes are not lighter.

This bike is in MINT condition. There are no scratches, dings, dents, or cracks of any kind. This is my personal bike. This didn't come from a demo or rental fleet. I even have racer's tape on most of the bike, which is the same stuff on helicopter blades. The finish is anodized instead of paint so there's nothing to chip off. The fork lowers have some marks but the stanchions are perfect. The rubber coating on the wheels have scraped off behind the cassette. Not really an issue but they are replaceable through Spinergy.

This is a vintage Miyata Two Ten touring bike set up with Shimano STX 7 speed (21 total speeds) with flat bar. It's light blue paint is in fair-OK condition with some detail touch up at the lugs, great camo for outdoor parking, but still pretty enough to attract stares from the occasional enlightened bike freak. Fenders are included for ready winter riding. Great commuter, probably one of the better commuter bikes made as this is a full on touring frame, with plenty of braze ons and rack attachments. Wide cyclocross type tires. Put together tastefully by someone who's worked in and out of bike shops for many years. Firm on $210, because this is a Two Ten, also because a 53 is not for me.

I have just learned that there is a national stolen bike registry and people actually get their bikes back once in awhile.

For 99 cents they will watch for your bike for 6 months and contact you if one pops up somewhere.

Mountain bike for sale with rare aluminum Voodoo frame. I built this nine speed earlier this year, but found that I wanted a new bike with 27 speeds. It's fun to ride and simple to maintain since it only has a rear derailleur.

I only rode it on the trail once and a few times around the neighborhood. It handles well and is fun to ride. If you like the simplicity of a single speed, but like to have more gears to climb, this is a great bike.

Seat tube measures 17.5" center-to-center. Should fit someone between 5'8" and 6ft. I'm 5'10" and it fits me great. Buy it and be ready to ride.

This is a primo GT STS 1000, one of the few thermoplastic/carbon fiber frames out there. It's got beautiful, ultracool CNC'd aluminum lugs in the rear to contrast with the carbon weave. This is the final clumination of the line, with the beefed up headtube. This was the top of the line frame from GT, listing for more than $3000 originally. I personally think it's still one of the sleekest, sexiest frames out there!

This is about an 18inch equivalent frame. I'm 5'10" with a 32 inch standover height, and it has always fit me wonderfully.

Makes for one hell of a downhiller for Christmas!

This is the rack Pletscher became known with. Those racks were copied from all over the world. However customers found out that the alloy the competitors were using was and still is not even close to the stringent Pletscher Q/C. If you want what a pletscher rack was in the 60s and 70s -a good way to carry stuff on your road bike- this is it.

It is intended to attach to stay eyelets and the seatstay bridge. This is a very versatile rack that can carry many assorted items with the rat trap arm, even a basketball. This rack has the flip up bracket that keeps larger items from sliding out from under the spring loaded rat traparm. There are mount points for rear reflector(s). Rack is rated for 50 pounds maximum carrying capacity.

Comes with mounting bolts for the seatstay bridge mounting plate as well as the hardware for mounting the rack �legs� to the stay eyelets.
