Sorry all you vamps, I need assistance drawing large amounts of MY OWN blood for an art piece. I do not have the time to fill 200+ small bottles with blood drawn from pin pricks. Anyone in the health field able to direct me on this one? I would need a phlebotomist but not sure if a hospital would be willing to do it and I don't want just someone off the streets.

I am an artist looking for any stories you might have to tell about your life--long, short, happy, sad, hilarious. I hope to present these stories via animation or drawings, and would love to hear your perspective on events, circumstances or elements of your life that you aren't normally able to express. These can be your deepest, darkest secrets, or simply mundane passages about picking out cereal at the grocery store.

Your stories will be presented anonymously, and you will receive no compensation for them. I am simply seeking inspiration for an art project.

Art Garden Studio (located in downtown Millbrae) is currently hosting two concentrated art classes through the summer of 2009. (Chinese speaking base).
Every Wednesday: Oil painting from 5pm to 8pm
Every Thursday: Water color from 5pm to 8pm
Fees: $15/hour
Taught by professional painter Boris X. Zhou, who has experience teaching oil painting, water color, and drawing for over 30 years. Classes are for intermediate students who already have some art training and who are passionate about improving their painting skills. The classes will focus on color, styling technique, and the finishing process. There will be plenty of one on one teaching and demonstrations.
Students who have basic drawing or painting foundation are welcome to sign up or drop in for these concentrated summer classes. Students who do not have any art experience but are also interesting in learning fine art are encouraged to sign up for our regular classes.
