Looking for a chance to work with an II Ranked Analyst and Break into Equity Research?
I was an II ranked analyst and worked on the Wall Street sellside for over 16 years. I now run my own Consulting Firm and am looking for a hard working, intelligent, self starter Equity Research Assistant to work alongside me.
The ideal candidate will have extraordinary skills in excel (not just a basic understanding), will easily navigate press releases, 10K’s and 10Q’s and input relevant data into spreadsheets, will have a thorough understanding of financial statement analysis, and will possess a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
The candidate must meet the following profile:
• Superior Excel Skills
• Self starter capable of working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
• Have strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
• Possess a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting or Finance ( no MBA’s please)
Position Description
• Full time, 1-2 days/week with me, the rest from your home, commitment is a minimum of 1 year, preferably longer
• Must be willing to arrive/start at 5 or 6am 1 time/month and several times per quarter
• Input data from press releases, 10K’s and 10Q’s into spreadsheets
• Build new financial models should the skill level be there
• Administrative responsibilities include filing and making travel arrangements
• Compensation is $15 - $24/hour depending on experience level
