Senior Accountant Position:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to be an integral part of the finance team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this position will assist in the day-to-day operations of the finance department and prepare fund level financial statements for the funds. For the right candidate, this position is a private equity controller career track growth opportunity.
The ideal candidate will be a committed, hands-on self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment and possess the initiative and desire to continuously improve processes and performance. Candidate must be extremely detail oriented, and an effective communicator, working at all levels within the organization and externally with limited partners and portfolio companies.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements using Investran and Excel;
• Analyze and record complex investment transactions in Investran;
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with Regulations;
• Prepare, issue and administer limited partner capital calls;
• Participate in quarterly portfolio review process and assist in determining company valuations;
• Prepare calculations for stock and cash distributions to the limited partners;
• Analyze and track portfolio company financial performance;
• Monitor compliance with partnership agreements;
• Assist with year end audits, quarterly reviews, tax return preparation, fundraising and
annual meeting activities;
Responsible for full cycle Accounts Payable
• Perform special projects as requested by the Managing Member, CFO and VP of Finance
• Interact with and respond to ad hoc limited partner requests;
• Manage and maintain the Investran database;
• Electronically distribute financial reports and K-1s to limited partners.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years Big 4 public accounting and/ or industry experience
• Venture Capital experience a plus
• CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
• Proficient with various software applications
