Designer/Developer for Web and Collateral
Ad Tech best of 2008. Rapidly expanding design and social media firm in the north bay is looking for a great designer/developer for web and collateral. We live design; Ideal candidate does too.
Ideal candidate has design skills based in a strong foundation of type, print and UI with a portfolio to back it up. Our aggressive team is working on several concurrent campaigns in branding, events and web design. Ideal candidate will be comfortable with a wide range of projects, and competent in all aspects of design, and an expert in getting great sites up and live.
Ideal candidate will be fast, smart and skilled (super nice is a plus)
Mandatory skills:
Design, and all the tools that entails (if I need to list them you are not right for the job)
Dedicated to good user interface design
BA/BS in Graphic Arts and/or Web Design is preferred
Expert HTML and Web Development
Skills in Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress as development enviornments
Skills in Dreamweaver
Ability to follow directions and work quickly
Good communication skills, can work directly with clients
Experience in large web production environments with version control a plus
Familiarity with AJAX, Javavscript, Java, Jquery a plus
Illustration / logo / icon design / Flash / print / video skills
This job will start as freelance, with some telecommuting, and for the right candidate can grow into a full time position. The more skills demonstrated, the more work is available.
