What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a web developer super star that can help us take our web site to the next level. You will help us build awareness and the online presence of our site. We're looking for someone who can tackle a variety of duties – from writing topical, on-the-cuff articles, to reaching out for potential advertising partnerships on the web. You should enjoy building brand awareness and digging for golden opportunities online. You should have at least an intermediate knowledge of search engine optimization, social bookmarking, web analytics, HTML, and CSS.. The ideal candidate would be someone that loves the internet, technology, and writing. He/she should also be highly motivated, extremely detail-oriented and enjoy working closely with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented start-up environment. The contract will last 3 months.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Design and update web pages.
Produce, develop and write copy.
Produce and develop marketing materials for advertisements and trade shows.
Scour the web to find new and interesting content to write about and put on our website.
Actively participate in community forums as they relate to the headset and noise cancellation industry.
Seek out online advertising opportunities: both through partnerships and adwords campaigns
Track and record successes and targets through web analytics.
Evangelize the value of our headset to outside publishers .
All other duties to be assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an excellent University with a degree in Computer Science, English, Marketing, Communications, or similiar with superior academic record.
Previous experience building websites a must.
Professional experience building a website for a small/large business a plus.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript
Experience working with Dreamweaver
Experience taking digital photos and editing with Photoshop a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
Ability to work within deadline requirements.
