Jim Russell Racing Drivers School is a dynamic and growing Sonoma Company, with an international presence. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Fleet Supervisor to join our Tech. Center Team.
Summary Description:
Fleet Supervisor is a key member of the Tech. Center team. The position co-reports to the Directors of Operations and is responsible for maintaining the fleet of street cars. The role requires supervisor experience, extensive mechanical skills and knowledge.
General Responsibilities and Duties:
Overall management of both Emotives fleet of street cars including:
All ASCE fleet management activities shall be performed in accordance with guidelines prescribed by Audi.
Management of the entire fleet of Mitsubishi street cars, to include program and support vehicles used by JRRDS.
Managing any vehicle needing repair / servicing and transportation to dealership depending on vehicle condition
Managing and ensuring meticulous logs of all cars based (vehicle list, overall condition of vehicles, issue list, repair history, fuel logs, mileage logs etc)
Ordering spare parts, tires and supplies and keeping purchase logs
Creating POs pertaining the fleet where necessary to be signed off by program directors
Overall vehicle logistics and transportation. This includes finding space for storage of fleet during major Infineon events to ensure fleet is secure either off-site or onsite (parking, vehicle storage, transportation).
Liaising with JRRDS to find space for vehicles both parties and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for both programs to run parallel.
Vehicle decals finding vendor, obtaining quotes, production and install
Arranging for vehicle loan agreements to be signed and handing cars over to Emotive and Audi staff loaning a car for event purposes, thereby controlling good car conditions are maintained
Putting systems in place where necessary to make managing the fleet easier
Tech Team:
Managing tech teams time sheets
Arranging for tech team training where necessary
ASCE and Mitsubishi Events:
Vehicle coordination for all Audi Sportscar Experience and Mitsubishi events ensuring enough cars are prepped ready for events and briefing tech team on requirements for each event
Managing tech team resources to be able to maintain optimal staff levels and hours worked to reduce overtime
Creating an accident report should an accident occur with any of the fleet cars
General assistance with running of events as and when required (e.g. large corporate events with more specific requirements)
Additional Duties
Additional duties as requested by management
Work schedule is driven by programs and events.
Expected to work with tech team to open and close shop once completed
