DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide application support including Microsoft office suite PDA software and other office application software for staff in a timely and courteous manor.
2. Work in partnership with other IT staff to maintain and repair staff workstations:
a. PC setup for new employees including hardware, software, & other peripherals; user and system network connections; and user orientation.
b. Regular maintenance and upgrades of the data communications, including workstations, PDAs, and peripherals.
c. Perform troubleshooting for hardware and software crashes, network connectivity, printer connections, paper jams and other problems.
d. Perform anti-virus and Spyware updates and regular scans.
e. Regular maintenance and upgrades of the data communications equipment, including workstations, printers, PDAs, and other peripherals.
f. Daily back-ups.
g. Document IT procedures, policies and infrastructure.
3. Maintain an inventory of computer hardware, peripherals, and software licenses including appropriate documentation. Recommend changes, updates and upgrades as needed.
4. Setup and install new workstations and broadband connectivity for peripheral locations.
5. Be conversant, and become increasingly knowledgeable, about all software applications currently in use at Community Action sites. Be able to provide support and training to users of those programs.
6. Oversee availability and setup of technology equipment available for check-out.
7. Assist remote site employees with technology issues generally via telephone, remote desktop and in-person when necessary.
8. Properly dispose of obsolete equipment.
9. Create and conduct staff training programs.
10. Be available as part of the IT staff to provide support through our Community Capacity Building program to other non-profits as assigned.
11. Comply with Community Action Sonoma Policies and Procedures.
12. Participate in agency orientation and diversity workshops.
13. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

� Minimum one year of experience with computer set-up, maintenance and troubleshooting problems required. Ability to perform these tasks with minimal supervision.
� Proficient with Microsoft software including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point
� Demonstrated ability to research and solve problems independently using a variety of resources and tools.
� Proficient in Window operating systems and familiar with Window security.
� Ability and desire to learn about and support technology at Community Action including our 20 sites around Sonoma County. This includes some program specific software applications such as ChildPlus, IBS & ABRA, and Fundware.
� Formal computer science coursework, certificate(s) in IT/IS skills, or equivalent experience.
