Good Earth Natural & Organic Foods is seeking an experienced Full Time FISH & POULTRY CLERK. We are looking for someone with some knowledge of seafood and poultry, skill with a knife, food handling experience, and a positive, health-minded orientation. This position's duties are extensive customer service, stocking the case, cleaning, prepping and cutting, knowledge of cooking seafood and poultry, and constantly learning more about the product. We prefer specific experience, but will train the right candidate who has the aptitude and the passion for organic and sustainable food.
Because we are a natural foods market and very committed to organic food and sustainability, applicants for this position need to have a sincere and strong interest in these issues - our customer service depends on it. Excellent customer service experience and people skills are necessary in this position. We are looking for someone who loves people and being of service, educating folks and selling the highest quality food available.
Our meat department focuses on sustainable harvest of fish and seafood, as well as organically grown poultry. Come work in Marin's only independently owned, full-service, community based organic market. This position is Full Time and most, shifts are closing shifts. Pay depends on experience.
