Indigo and his litter mates were found after being dumped on a hiking trail near Redding. He is approximately 5 months old and weighs around 22 pounds. We would describe the breed as Heinz 57, but there are hints of Catahoula, Dachshund, and Airedale mixed in the litter. We expect Indigo to be between 35-45 pounds full grown.

Indigo is the most independent of the puppies and is a very sweet pup. He has a amber colored coat and eyes and resembles a Dachshund in size. Indigo will be an good buddy for a hiker or jogger. Training and socialization will help make this guy the perfect dog. Currently Indigo sleeps in a crate at night and is working on leash training.

He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (2 DHLPP, Bordetella, and Rabies), wormed, treated with heartworm prevention, and treated for fleas/ticks.

He will be available to meet at our next adoption event, Saturday September 20th from 11-3pm, at NorCal Pet Supply in Santa Rosa. He is also available for private meetings before the event.
