Palm Drive Hospital – A 37-bed district hospital in beautiful west Sonoma County (1 hour north of San Francisco in the Wine Country) is currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapist.
Job Summary: The Physical Therapist (PT), performs evaluations and administers treatments prescribed for the spectrum of physical disabilities, supervises PTA and PT aides, participates in inservice and quality assurance programs and performs other duties and administrative tasks as directed by supervisors.
Education, Training and Licenses Required: The Physical Therapist must be a graduate of a CAPTE (Commission on Accreditation and Physical Therapy Education) accredited university/college and possess current California licensure; current BLS certification; must be able to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Thorough command of accepted PT evaluation and treatment techniques; good documentation, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages and developmental stages.
