Major Function
Responsible for generating revenue, through outbound solicitation with an emphasis on the association, corporate and entertainment group market.
Job Requirements:
* Computer literacy and the ability to utilize, Word, Excel and department specific programs.
* Desire to progress within the hospitality industry.
* Prior experience as a Sales Manager.
* Minimum of 1-2 years hotel sales management experience
* Delphi and Excel experience preferred.
Responsibilities and Expectations
• Prospect and penetrate corporate group, during peak and non peak periods.
• Meet weekly sales call goals as outlined in the weekly summary
• Cultivate corporate group business through direct sales
• Perform sales tasks and goals as outlined in the marketing plan
• Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly reports in a timely manner
• Establish and maintain contact with established and target accounts
• Penetrate and saturate backyard producing corporate accounts
• Develop and maintain rapport with competitor hotels, lead sources, clients and participate in industry groups
• Maintain positive and timely customer communications. Fast response to requests, customer follow up, emails, reservations, and any guest/client needs.
• Conduct pre call planning and utilize all Hilton processes, form and procedures to prepare for client meetings, rate offerings and cold prospecting.
• Ensure all rates are approved Director of Sales when offering proposals.
• Develop and execute 30-60-90 goals using SMART Goal process to create timely and specific goals for self growth, team involvement and increase revenue production from designated Market.
• Contribute to and utilize Sales Focus Tools and Catering Focus Tools.
• Build relationships with guests through networking opportunities.
• Further develop selling skills through pro-active pursuit of training classes, mentorship with colleagues, working with revenue manager and Hilton resources.
• Document all sales activities in Delphi
• Work flexible hours including weekends and evenings when needed
