No, you don't have to work at the Mall and fight the crowds on Black Friday! You will be working at a lovely winery in a relaxed environment and sampling & selling to the sophisticated wine-tasting customer. We are an award-winning gourmet luxury chocolate truffle company based in Sacramento looking for people to sample and sell our product at various winery locations throughout No. California. Our product is a high-end chocolate product, previously sold nationwide at all Neiman-Marcus stores, you would need to have some knowledge and a love of luxury gourmet chocolate. You would be an independent contractor but working directly for the chocolate company, including our moral support and training.
EXPERIENCE:
If you are experienced in direct sales, you have an outgoing personality, friendly, nice, honest, dependable and LOVE Belgian chocolate this will be a fun event job for you! We're looking for talented sales people who can work independently and sell directly to wine-tasting consumers at wineries. We're easy-going, nice people to work for and we want you to be successful and have fun! Plus you get to take home a box of gourmet chocolate as a gift from us!
JOB DETAILS:
This is currently a seasonal event job on weekends where you will sample the chocolates and sell the chocolate gift boxes at various special events at winery locations, where we are currently scheduled to sample & sell throughout No. California. We do sample and sell our products all year 'round at wineries, and we may need your expertise at upcoming events throughout the year.
You will be sampling the chocolates (all of the samples are pre-cut) and letting the wine-tasting customer enjoy the chocolates while they pair with their wines. You will have the gift boxes displayed on the table and this is when you will use your talented sales skills to explain the product and all of the different varieties and pricing, while convincing the wine-tasting consumer that they should purchase chocolate for themselves, family and friends. You will handle all cash and credit card transactions yourself.
This job includes driving your vehicle to various locations throughout Northern Ca. which may include, Sonoma, Napa and the Livermore areas. We pay an hourly wage of $10 per hour including your picking-up of product from our location and loading it into your vehicle, driving to the location and setting-up product at the winery, sampling & selling product during the winery event and then breaking-down display and driving home to your location. We also pay all of your gas expenses. It can be a 7-8 hour day.
HOURLY PAY:
$10 per hour including loading vehicle, drive time, event time plus gas expenses. We will pay you 1-2 days after event. This job can be a 7-8 hour day.
SCHEDULED WORK DAYS & LOCATIONS:
You are not obligated to work every weekend, we need to fill each event winery slot, you can pick and choose which weekend days or day you would like to work.
