Our client, a Santa Rosa-area based non-profit organization, is seeking a highly professional Customer Service Representative to join their team. Via phone consultations, the qualified candidate will provide helpful financial information to current and potential clients in regards to money management and credit related housing issues. Discussions may include topics such as: affordable housing options, pre-purchase home buyer education, foreclosure/early delinquency intervention, reverse mortgage, comprehensive housing counseling and credit report review. The ability to use reasoning and compassion when dealing with senstitive topics regarding finances is necessary to be successful in the this role. Job Requirements:
• MUST have Strong background in customer service and a professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
• Knowledge or exposure to HUD and/or mortgage industry, financial services, financial counseling, banking or insurance is a plus.
• A BS or BA degree is also desired.
