Must-Have Abilities/Skills:
• Fluent Spanish speaker proficient in technical writing (in Spanish) of highly technical software documentation and training materials.
• Familiar with scientific Spanish (central/south America).
• Familiar with MS Word (must), Adobe FrameMaker (best)
• Able to work quickly and independently. We are on a 2 week timeline
• Fast learner of new software
• Proficiency with screencasting software Camtasia Studio a plus
• Cognizant of software IPR protection (ie. keeps what he/she’s working on confidential)

Task at hand:
• Translation of English Getting started guide and software training materials for a scientific visualization and data analysis software to south/central American Spanish.
• Possibility of travel to assist with Training in Central America 2nd half November 2009 and early 2010

Position Duration/Pay:
• Contract for now with potential for more (depending on success of software and of person)
• Offering $50/hr with 10% completion bonus (t.b.d)
