Accounting Manager Position
Trentadue Winery in Geyserville is in search of an Accounting Manager. A small, dedicated team of professionals grow the grapes, make the wine, and interface with the public who come to enjoy the estate setting and the fantastic wines. In addition to crafting world-class wines, our company has a significant Event and Wedding business.
YOUR GOALS WILL BE:
Work closely with the General Manager and other team members to ensure timely, accurate and relevant information is communicated, applied, and leveraged for the benefit of the whole organization.
YOUR DUTIES WILL BE:
The Accounting Manager will prepare and issue reports and financial statements for all vineyard and winery operations. He or she will have personal responsibility to prepare and manage all accounting, fiscal compliance, and cash-flow management matters. Code and enter invoices and process A/P from QuickBooks. Post Retail Sales from Vinnow into QuickBooks and process wholesale orders. This position will support the General Manager and team members with other projects as needed in a high-performance operation. Specific duties include:
General Accounting Process bi-weekly payroll
Payroll Taxes by classification
Daily banking
Depreciation entries
Inventory adjustments: Book to Physical
Health insurance by classification
Excise Taxes, 702 Reporting, Sales and Use Tax
Worker's Compensation Insurance by classification
ER 401K contributions to Checking account
Cost transfer: Bulk Wine & Bottling
Reclassification Cost of goods from bottling reports
Samples invoices
Allocations Health Insurance (Excel)
Worker's compensation Insurance
Accruals Property taxes accrual
Commercial Liability: farm/umbrella insurance accrual
Vacation liability accrual
Monthly Expense Accruals (& reversals)
Reconciliations Bank statement
Merchant statement
Office Petty cash
Physical inventory - winery
Physical inventory - library
government reporting census reporting
grape crush report
agric property statement
business property statement
Others duties as required
