I am stay at home mom to a 21 months old boy. I'd like to take care for one more child around his age.
We play, sing and dance together, read books, draw and fingerpaint, make age-appropriate projects, go to different playgrounds and more. I love kids and have been babysitting on and off before.
I am fluent in Russian, English, Hebrew and I speak some Spanish. If you'd like, I could speak in one of those to your child and, given some time, he would learn a second language.
I am available Tuesdays through Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 9 pm.

Friday nights, I usually see a 12 y/o girl 5:30PM-10PM.

I would like to find something that is consistent; where I would be be needed 1-2 days a week, possibly up to 8 hours a day.
I'm always open to part time (minimum 3 hours) during the week and on weekends, date nights or overnights.
Extra duties I'm willing to perform, besides activities with children, are housekeeping/cleaning, running errands, picking up and/or dropping off kids at appointments/events, etc.

I have experience with 12 month olds-14 year olds, including my step-brothers whom have lived with me for 11 years. Also, my best friend has a 2.5 year old that is practically my niece; she's in my home 4 days a week because my mom watches her.
I do not have any children of my own so no extra kiddies will be around during the time of your care.
I would be most comfortable watching no more than 3 children at a time, the youngest being at least 12 months old.

Finding a job in Petaluma would be ideal however I am open to travel to Penngrove, Cotati, or Rohnert Park. I would also consider Novato, Santa Rosa, and Sonoma.
For the cities of San Francisco or Sausalito, I will only consider full time hours.

hey all fellow nannies. i ve noticed two similar ads of nannies asking for rate advise and i thought it might be helpful to all of us if i share this. i ve been doing this work for over a decade and i know several familles as well as the different rates they offer their nannies. the rates do change over the years and even more, they change depending on where in the bay. from my view, the rates are higher on the peninsula from rates going for 17-18 for one and 23-25 for two. Fair SF rates for one child go from 15-16 and for two go from 21-23. as for benefits. if we are working FT for one family or share care, i believe it is more then fair to ask for sick days, federal holidays, fast pass, and to be paid when family takes vacation or breaks. If we are working PT for several, its a little tricker. 1 or 2 sick days wouldnt be too much nor would the federal holidays. i think that nannies who are well experienced asking for similar wages would help us all. we can then be judged on our qualifications solely as wel as come home with fair wage for our quality, private, work. good luck.

Hi, I'm 18 years old and I'm currently a full time student at San Francisco State University. For the fall semester, I have class Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am-3:30pm and Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2-3pm. Next semester, my schedule will change, but it will most likely be similar hours. I have babysat for two families in the past. One family I cared for had two children ages 7 and 9 years old and I babysat them for a year. The other family I cared for had two children ages 2 and 4 years old and I babysat them for almost two years. However, both families moved away and I have no way of contacting them for references. But I assure you I am qualified to take care of your children. I also work at a summer camp where I am a cabin leader for children ages 10-14, so if you do need a reference, I can give you that number. Other than the time I am in class, I have a very flexible schedule. I am not CPR certified and do not have a license, but I know public transportation very well and have a ride pretty much all the time. I charge $10/hour for one child, $12/hour for two or more.
