29, Capricorn and I like long walks on the beach, just kidding, I'd rather surf.<br>

I'm currently working as a Photojournalist in the "Action Sports" field.  Ah that sounds to much like an ESPN lens jockey- I'm a snowboarder photographer and shoot mainly for various snowboard publications with the occasional surf and skate.  I'm a Cali native but was raised on the east coast and have spent considerable time living abroad in Asia, Europe and South America.  I'm currently living outside Amsterdam and will be state/bay side by the last week of July.  I understand how quickly the housing market moves and how this might present a problem for an 8/1 move in so mid August to Sept 1st is more likely...<br>
<br>
After taking a long sabbatical I'm planning on returning to world of academia, however while I was gone it seems my degree in Liberal Arts although more accepted theses days is pretty much worthless, besides I'm looking to change majors.  I will be going back to CCSF full time to make up some courses to transfer into the UC system or one of the many other fine schools in California.   I'm not fully versed in the bay areas transportation systems however close to the CCSF campus (either distance or public trans ease) but far enough away from "student housing" is preferred.  I will have a car but would prefer to use it for trip s to the mountains or water  and utilize, public trans, my skateboard or a bike while navigating the city. <br>
<br>
What am I looking for?<br>
<br>
Rent $500 to at most $1000<br>
(yeah I know this doesn't get far in SF but towards the middle is preferred although the price is all about the fit and vibe of the situation) <br>
Since I'm a photographer a large open industrial space, raw and easily manipulated along with a chill living space would be nice. However in my price range that's a bit of a pipe dream. So in all reality...<br>
<br>
Private room, shared living space (not into dorm style) and full kitchen a must as a shared bathroom is fine.<br>
<br>
Roommates-<br>
The norm (and above all) common sense, average to clean, chill, social and  hopefully some knowledge of the ins and outs of the city.   Age, profession and orientation not as important as the feel.  Although I'll be in school full time some social interaction will be enjoyed and entertaining at the house is enjoyed and not a problem as long as its in moderation... <br>
<br>
Me-<br>
I like to cook, so a full kitchen, dinner parties and so forth are all welcomed.  I'm not veg or vegan, however I eat healthy and prefer organic or whole foods.  Active, surf skate and snowboard and in Holland so I'm riding a bike everywhere.  With all of my travels I have made many friends some of which may stop by to visit (not live) on rare occasions.  I like taking my shoes off at the door (left over from my time spent in Japan) and having easy access to local markets and stores although neither of these are a must.<br>

Otherwise I'm pretty easy to get along with.<br>

The House is really safe and near Bart station. If you dont have car that would not be a problem. Three min. Walking distance...from  Bart station and 10min from Berkeley...(I am students CAL) and 30min from SF downtown.<br>
There are lots of stores around the house like Mcdonalds, pizza hut, dollar store, walgreen...etc.<br>

We are a bilingual(french) pre-k teacher, a car-parking bass player in a fabulous band, a photography student, and a painter/photographer/activist.) For the summer we are a slightly different lineup but you get the gist of it. Our bass player has headed off to France for the summer...his room in on the second floor, shares a the big bathroom with the soaking tub with two others. It has a big skylight and so is not recommended for day sleepers.

 "We" also includes 3 indoor/outdoor cats, so we are unable to accept any more pets. At least none who sport fur.

We have a three bedroom, two bath townhome in Parkmerced, with a room opening up on July 15th. It's a decent-sized room, and usually is the sunniest and warmest room in the house. The closet is good and big. You would be sharing one bathroom with two other people, but don't worry, we've never had conflicts over it. There's a full bed, some small shelving, a TV with cable, and possibly a bookcase in the room, any of which you are free to use. If it's not needed, that's cool too. There's wireless internet throughout the house. House expenses (PG&E, Cable/Phone/Internet) are split evenly between us all.<br>
There are four of us in the house (two stable couples). We're all 23-24, but one of the best roommate relationships we've ever had was with a 38-year-old, so don't feel that age is a barrier. We're easy to get along with, and pretty hard to piss off. A bunch of openminded, movie-loving, gamers and readers. A few of us smoke cigarettes, but only ever outside. 420 friendly!<br>
We have two kitties and two small dogs. They stay in our rooms when we aren't around to supervise them. If you have pets, they are welcome as long as they can adjust to ours. :)<br>
The house is big and has a nice shared courtyard in the back. There's a reserved parking space that we're not using, so if you have a car, no problem! The house is within easy walking distance of SFSU and the MUNI M Line.<br>
